My husband and son sledding during our family vacation. Taking photographs is often my way of living in the moment.  This was caught on a gorgeous winter day while we were having fun in Vermont.

Training for Boston

Checking on my husband during a 17 mile run as he trains for the Boston Marathon, his second marathon.  To say I have an appreciation for athletes, especially marathoners is an understatement.

• A Little About Me

  Helene Norton-Russell is a professional photographer, activist, wife and mother based in the Metro-Boston area of Massachusetts. Given her first camera at age seven, Helene turned her creative passion into a profession. She received her Master's and Bachelor's from Boston College where she majored in Sociology.
